Nova Head Spa

WELCOME TO
NOVA HEAD SPA

At NOVA Head Spa, we believe true beauty starts at the root — and so does deep self-care.

Founded by Georga Robinson, who holds an MSc in Forensic Psychology and has worked in mental health services for over a decade, NOVA is the result of a personal journey. After struggling with scalp psoriasis, postpartum hair thinning, and the overwhelm of modern motherhood, Georga became passionate about the transformative power of scalp health.

Her experience led her to discover Japanese head spa therapy - a luxurious, results-driven treatment that supports not just the hair and scalp, but the whole self. From this passion, NOVA was born.

The word NOVA means “a new star” - a symbol of rebirth, radiance, and rising anew. That’s what we offer you: a peaceful, premium space where you can reset, recharge, and glow beyond limits.

Our CPD-certified Japanese head spa treatments are designed to:

- Deeply detoxify and rebalance the scalp
- Encourage natural hair growth
- Relieve built-up tension and stress
- Leave you feeling renewed - inside and out

Using only vegan, cruelty free, and toxin-conscious products, we support your long-term hair and scalp health with every treatment. Whether you’re facing specific concerns or simply craving a new self-care ritual, NOVA is your sanctuary for transformation - from root to soul.

I was lucky enough to have early access to NOVA Head Spa before the official opening, and honestly it was everything I didn’t know I needed. The whole experience was calming, luxurious, and so thoughtfully delivered. My scalp felt amazing afterwards, and I left feeling completely reset. This place is going to be something special.

CLIENT REVIEW

  • Can I have a head spa treatment if I’m pregnant?
Yes — our treatments are generally safe during pregnancy as they are non-invasive and use gentle, toxin-free products. Please let us know when booking if you are pregnant, so we can ensure your comfort and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Can I have a treatment if I wear hair extensions?
We’re unable to perform a head spa treatment while you have hair extensions in place, as the massage, and deep cleansing can loosen bonds and cause matting. However, we highly recommend booking a head spa in between extension sets as it’s the perfect way to detoxify your scalp, boost circulation, and encourage healthy hair growth before your next set.
  • Is a blow-dry included after the treatment?
No, our services do not include a blow-dry as we recommend avoiding heat styling for at least two hours after your head spa to allow your scalp and hair to fully absorb the nourishing benefits. We’ll towel dry your hair, leaving it soft, refreshed, and manageable. There will however be a hairdryer on site should you wish to lightly dry your hair, especially during the winter months; or alternatively purchase a microfiber hair towel to go home with.
  • How should I arrive for my appointment?
For the best results, we recommend arriving with clean, dry hair (washed within the last 24 hours if possible). This allows your treatment to focus fully on nourishing and balancing your scalp and hair, rather than just removing heavy build-up. That said, it’s absolutely fine if you haven’t had time as your treatment includes a full, deep cleanse either way.
  • Will the treatment make my hair greasy?
Not at all; our treatments deeply cleanse your scalp while nourishing it, leaving your hair feeling light, fresh, and full of volume.
  • How often should I have a head spa?
For optimal results, we recommend a course of 3–5 treatments if you have specific scalp concerns such as dryness, oiliness, or thinning. Afterwards, 4-6 week maintenance is ideal to keep your scalp and hair healthy.
  • Can I book if I have a sensitive scalp or a skin condition?
In most cases, yes, our products are gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. However, if you have an active scalp condition (such as open wounds or infection), we may advise waiting until it has healed. Please contact us if you’re unsure and we’ll be happy to advise.
  • Do you use heat or harsh chemicals?
No, all our treatments use natural, toxin-conscious, vegan-friendly products, and we never use harsh chemicals or unnecessary heat.
